Overview

Soul weapons are infused with harvested Souls — the core gear loop of Cobble Souls. Weapons grow stronger through boss drops, crafting, empowered remnants, and prestige combining.

Soul Weapons

Base weapons from the soul attributes config scale with your allocated attributes. Boss first-clears, datapack crafting, and SkiesGUI menus are the main obtain paths. Finished with a duplicate? Smelt any Simply Swords unique Soul Weapon in a furnace or blast furnace to recover an empowered remnant — see Empowered Remnants below.

  • Soul Infusion — Weapons absorb Souls to unlock unique passives.
  • Combine — Duplicate soul weapons at forges and prestige GUIs to raise tier.
  • Smelt down — Place a unique Soul Weapon in a furnace or blast furnace to yield 1 empowered remnant (destroys the weapon).

Empowered Remnants

Empowered remnants are high-tier crafting currency for prestige weapons, special armor, and datapack recipes. On Cobble Souls they are most reliably farmed by smelting Simply Swords unique weapons — including all 14 exchange Soul Weapons — in a furnace or blast furnace. Each smelt returns one empowered remnant and consumes the weapon.

  • Smelt — Input: any weapon tagged as a Simply Swords unique (Soul Weapons, hidden uniques, boss weapons, etc.). Output: 1 empowered remnant per weapon (~50 seconds).
  • Spend — Required at SkiesGUI prestige menus (often 14× per tier), special armor exchanges, and advanced crafting benches.

Weapon Prestige

Ascend weapons through SkiesGUI prestige tiers for stronger scaling and new abilities. Prestige paths chain from base boss weapons through waking and awakened tiers.

  • Ascend — Spend Souls, empowered remnants, and prerequisite weapons at prestige SkiesGUI menus.

How to Obtain

Soul weapons come from three main sources:

  • SkiesGUI menus — Prestige chains unlock tier-by-tier at hub forge stations.
  • Boss drops — First-clear arena kills grant a Soul Weapon Key; prestige weapons appear in the loot pool.
  • Datapack crafting — Some weapons craft directly from materials listed in recipes below.
