Nuzlocke Mode
A standalone high-risk gym route where fainted Pokemon die and a single loss can wipe your entire run.

Nuzlocke Mode is separate from regular gym progression and Monotype Mode. Enable it at the PokeCenter, build a tagged roster, and clear gyms under permanent-death rules.
How does it work on Cobble Souls?
- Use /warp PokeCenter and talk to Melina to enable Nuzlocke Mode.
- After Nuzlocke Mode is enabled, talk to Melina again to receive a Nuzlocke Mode Starter.
- Once your Nuzlocke run begins, every Pokemon you catch or receive from defeating Gyms receives the Nuzlocke Tag.
- Any Pokemon that faints during a Nuzlocke Gym battle dies permanently.
- If you lose any Nuzlocke Gym battle, your Nuzlocke progress resets and all Nuzlocke-tagged Pokemon in your party and PC die.
- You may only catch one Pokemon per biome. Attempting to catch another causes it to evaporate.
- Pokemon acquired outside of Nuzlocke Mode cannot be used against Nuzlocke Gym Leaders.
Traditional Nuzlocke Rules
Cobble Souls builds on the fan-made Nuzlocke Challenge. For the original community rules and philosophy behind the run, see Bulbapedia.
